The Directory of Services has been created by Martin Lakeman to support professionals and members of the public who want tohelp someone they know or suspect is experiencing abuse or vulnerable. It brings together specialist, lifesaving services in one place, recognising that people can only act on what they know. Many are unaware of therange of support available, so the directory empowers individuals to offer options and support, while building confidence in navigating a complex, challenging and emotional subject. Its impact is significant: even saying,

“You’re not on your own. What’s happening to you is not okay and it’s not your fault,” can be life-changing
